Driver Grade II – 5 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Inspecting the vehicle before and after trips to ensure that it is in safe working condition.
- Transporting staff to various locations on official duties.
- Carrying out minor vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Collecting and distributing various documents.
- Recording and maintaining details of all journeys in the vehicle logbook.
- Keeping the vehicle clean.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) and a valid Class E or Class C driving licence, with at least one year of driving experience without causing an accident. Applicants should also possess the relevant training certificates that qualified them to obtain the respective driving licence classes.
In addition, applicants must have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or another institution recognized by the Government.
